Maryam Zakaria was born on 27th September 1984 in Tehran, Iran. She started her career as a model and made her own dancing school Indisk Dans Studio in Sweden where she teaches Bollywood dance style. It was the first school in Sweden that teach Bollywood dance style.
Later in 2009 she moved to Mumbai and start working as a model. She has done many modeling assignments and also appeared in TV commercials like Set Wet, Layz, and Coke.
She was later spotted by Tamil movie director Sundar C who offered her to perform an item number in his upcoming movie “Nagaram”. Later she has done work in many movies but started to recognized for her item number in the Bollywood movie “Agent Vinod” from the song “Dil Mera Muft Ka”.
