Lavanya Tripathi was born on 15th December 1990 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India. Her father is working as a lawyer and her mother is retired teacher. In siblings she has one brother and one sister. She has completed her schooling education from Marshalls School.

She has completed her graduation in Economics from Rishi Dayaram National College. After completing her education she starts her career as a model and done many modeling assignments. Her career begins to shine when she won the title of Miss Uttarakhand in 2006.

Later she starts to get roles in TV serial like Ssshhhh…Koi Hai, Pyaar Ka Bandhan. After giving an audition to many movies she was cast as the lead actress in the Tollywood movie “Andala Rakshasi” from where her journey as an actress begins.
